Nurse Practitioner - Executive Health/Concierge Medicine

Department of Medicine

National Jewish Health, located in the heart of Denver, Colorado in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for Executive Health/Concierge Medicine to join its medical staff.

This position will practice at National Jewish Health in the NJH Executive Health / Concierge Medicine Program. Serves as a Provider for patients in the program, providing direct patient care and care coordination. Works closely with clinic staff to coordinate the highest quality care and an exceptional service experience for patients. After hours phone call included and may vary.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provides quality care to patients, families, in primary care setting.
  • Performs and documents patient history and physical exam, gathers data from the medical record, reviews outside medical records, makes contact with referring providers and specialists.
  • Acts as a consultant to nursing staff, medical staff, and other support services.
  • Monitors the progress of each patient and revises orders and care plans as needed.
  • Writes progress notes and works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Communicates promptly with patient, health care team, and referring health care providers.

Education, Certification, and Licensure:

  • Graduate of accredited NP program
  • Must have current Certification by a national certifying body as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Current Colorado NP license required
  • Healthcare provider level CPR/BLS required every 2 years

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of recent and related experience as NP preferred.
  • Experience in primary care preferred

Starting Pay Range:  $105,000
