Position Summary
Join Health Initiatives at National Jewish Health to be part of a team that makes a difference in the lives of thousands of people across the country! 
The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring successful and timely completion of projects related to core products and services for Health Initiatives (HI) programs. Having significant expertise in technology-based solutions, the project manager oversees all business and technical development projects, establishes technology requirements and timelines for implementing solutions, working closely with IST and coordinating other product development resources.

Essential Duties

  1. Project manages the development of products, programs and services, providing effective project communication, documentation, and timelines with internal and external stakeholders. Ensures projects meet functional requirements and are completed on time and within budget.
  2. Maintains the master list of projects and product roadmap for future development. Facilitates visioning meetings and discussions within HI and with IST to ensure technology solutions evolve and respond to client needs. Coordinates and integrates multiple high priority activities, including conflict resolution related to multiple projects with competing needs.
  3. Develops technical requirements for new development and existing product enhancements to meet the needs of clients, participants, and HI staff. Seeks stakeholder input as to need, functionality, and user interface design.
  4. Manages standard scope of work documents related to product development and implementation, including determination of schedules and freeze dates for obtaining required input from stakeholders.
  5. Guides software team in their design process, including ensuring that user experience and user interface elements are carefully designed, quality assurance tested, and refined based on user acceptance testing.  
  6. Documents and drives continuous improvement of all HI systems. Identifies opportunities for improvement and usability, working with stakeholders to implement changes.  Develops business case to solve technical issues facing HI, including comparisons with best practices in industry.
  7. Implements changes to software products with administrative privileges to meet business needs and client requests, including setting up new clients and refining services for existing clients.
  8. Manages onboarding of eReferral systems in coordination with IST and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a business management, project management, software design or related degree required.
  2. Work Experience: A minimum of four (4) years recent and related work experience in a service delivery field required. Health care experience preferred.
  3. Special Training, Certification or Licensure: PMP certification preferred.

 

Salary Range: $73,000 - $90,000
