Summary

Position Summary
    
Provides logistical support for the receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies from the Stores inventory area at National Jewish Health, Denver Campus.  This includes all aspects of inventory management including conducting physical inventory, distribution and reconciliation of inventory, and data management.    


Essential Duties    

  1. Coordinates all incoming inventory coming into Stores from the Receiving department.  Reviews and confirms packing slips and ensures package quantities are correct before placing on shelves.  Stages inventory on shelves using the FIFO system (first in/first out).
  2. Communicates inventory issues to the Stores and Mailroom Supervisor and/or Central Services Manager including expired items, non or low used items and damaged items. 
  3. Coordinates all receiving/shipping documents, ensures correct supplies and quantities were delivered, notes any discrepancies and communicates them to the Stores and Mailroom Supervisor and/or Central Services Manager. 
  4. Responsible for fulfillment of pick tickets.  This includes processing order release request, printing of pick tickets and inventory delivery, and material picking feedback confirmation.   
  5. Responsible for weekly delivery of dry ice to designated departments as needed.
  6. Assists receiving area with delivering packages and receipt of incoming packages.


Other Duties

  1. Performs as main back-up to staff absences and vacancies, as necessary, including mail duties. 
  2. Assists with delivering supply exchange carts as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications


Education    

High school diploma or equivalent preferred


Work Experience    

1 year work experience in an inventory department of a hospital or related organization preferred.

Salary Range: $15.00 - $18.42
