Summary

The Department of Medicine at National Jewish Health is actively seeking dynamic BC/BE Rheumatologists that have a primary focus in clinical rheumatology to expand a growing Division.

 

The Division currently has 4 faculty Rheumatologists with an active practice that provides patient care at National Jewish Health and satellite clinics with over 6,000 outpatient visits per year. 

 

The Division has a particular focus on Rheumatologic lung disease, and works closely with the National Jewish Health’s world-class pulmonary program to provide assessment, care, and management of connective tissue disease related pulmonary disorders; fibrotic lung disease, vasculitis, and non-tuberculous mycobacterial disease in the setting of various rheumatologic disorders.

  • The Division interacts closely with Cardiology, Nephrology, and GI in its patient care and research missions. 
  • Experts in immunology, imaging, and various ancillary services support the Division.
  • We have in-house infusion centers, physical therapy, musculoskeletal ultrasound, a bone health clinic and a clinical research unit for investigator initiated and industry sponsored trials. 
  • An academic appointment may be provided through the University of Colorado.

 

Position responsibilities include:

  • Outpatient clinical care, assisting in the daily management of the infusion centers.
  • Teaching residents and fellows, and participation in all academic facets of the Division. 

 

Qualifications:

  • BC in Internal Medicine.
  • BC/BE in Rheumatology, and have a strong commitment to clinical care. 
  • Eligible to hold a Colorado license.

 

Salary Range: $180,000 - $220,000
