National Jewish Health, located in the heart of Denver, Colorado in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, is seeking a Director for Executive Health Medicine to join its medical staff.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • MD/DO
  • BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Colorado licensure or eligible
  • Minimum of five years of related experience
  • Concierge experience a plus
  • Experience building a primary care practice a plus

This position will practice at National Jewish Health/Saint Joseph Hospital, Monday-Friday day shift overseeing the NJH Executive Health / Concierge Medicine Program. Serves as a primary physician for patients in the program, providing direct patient care and care coordination. Collaboratively designs and develops the Executive Health / Concierge Medicine programs in partnership with other senior NJH leaders including care models, marketing plans, community outreach and other programmatic elements as necessary for program success. Serves as the face of the program building and maintaining patient base and referral relationships. Provides leadership for the other medical professionals in the program and coordinates program responsibilities with administrative management.  

Salary range: $250,000 - $400,000

  1. Provides quality care to patients as appropriate to what is anticipated to be a nationally recognized and best-in-class Executive Health / Concierge Medicine Program.
  2. Performs and documents all customary, recommended and required clinical elements as appropriate to medical practice including patient history, physical exam, and review of outside medical records, diagnostic testing and objective data review, assessment, plan, recommendations, and care coordination with referring and consulting physicians.
  3. Abides by Medical Staff rules, regulations, and by-laws including standards around documentation and responsiveness to patient and staff needs.
  4. Oversees the NJH Executive Health and Concierge Medicine Program ensuring that the membership-based program is clinically effective, highly personalized, and provides exemplary customer service to a sophisticated and discerning patient population.
  5. Serves as the face of the program and works with marketing and other leaders to develop the patient base and the referring relationships to ensure the program’s clinical and financial success.
  6. Leads, manages and develops an effective clinical team: providing effective communication, leadership, and guidance. Interviews, trains, orients, mentors, coaches, counsels Executive Health / Concierge Medicine staff.  Monitors staff safety and regulatory compliance and provides oversight of staff qualifications and competencies as appropriate.
  7. Coordinates with medical providers, ancillary services, and administration to ensure the effectiveness of the program for patients, families, and providers.
  8. Builds relationships with outside entities to facilitate patient access to those medical resources not currently available within the NJH or Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) system. 

Salary range: $250,000 - $400,000
