Summary
Position Summary
Coordinates the Clinical Translational Research Center (CTRC) program administration and fiscal activities in conjunction with Academic Affairs Administration. Maintains a statistical and financial data as liaison between the Institution, Office of Academic Affairs, and the University of Colorado Hospital (UCH). Monitors and maintains records on bed use, clinic visits and record keeping.
Essential Duties
- Communicates and coordinates the Institution's CTRC activities with the administrative coordinator at UCD, as well as the Institution's Program Director, Academic Affairs Administration, and various principle investigators.
- Prepares an Annual Report for the CTRC Program with Academic Affairs Administration.
- Works in conjunction with Academic Affairs Administration on the five-year submission of the CTRC competing renewal.
- Assists principal investigators with protocol preparation and budgeting of their grant protocol submittal to the Scientific Advisory Review Committee (SARC) of the CTRC.
- Maintains proper and current patient care charges related to all aspects of billing, and coordinates activities with the Patient Business Office as necessary.
- Reviews and reconciles the appropriateness of expenditures charged to monthly protocol projects, working in conjunction with Academic Affairs Administration and Research Administration. Ensures that federal and institutional policies and procedures are followed.
- Arranges and attends meetings, as necessary. Records minutes of CTRC monthly meetings. Sets up site visits, and makes travel arrangements, as required.
- Orders and stocks supplies and equipment to ensure uninterrupted service, as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s in Accounting, Business Administration or Health Administration or related field preferred.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 3 years of recent and related experience in clinical research, protocol submission and basic budgeting.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000
