Summary

 

Position Summary    

The Division Administrator position oversees division finances to assist faculty and department leadership in achieving financial and operational goals. 


Essential Duties    

  1. Assists division faculty in meeting clinical expectations. This includes monitoring faculty schedules and productivity, preparing customized reports, and analyzing data to improve clinical efficiency.
  2. Tracks and administers division revenue streams to meet institutional goals.
  3. Assists in the preparation of annual revenue and expense budgets.
  4. Manages expenditures to adhere to fiscal policies and assigned budgets.
  5. Assembles business plans for faculty recruits.
  6. Monitors and adjusts faculty job descriptions to accurately account for clinical, research, and administrative effort.


Other Duties    

  1. Provides back-up support for other members of the Department of Medicine Administration team, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree with major in Healthcare, Business Administration, or Accounting required. MBA or MS in Healthcare Administration preferred.
  2. Work Experience: A minimum of five (5) years recent and related experience required. Related experience within an Academic medical institution and/or healthcare environment is preferred.  
  3. Special Training, Certification or Licensure: None

 

Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000
